Bulk cargo transportation involves moving unpackaged, free-flowing or granular loads — such as grain, scrap metal, mineral ore, cement, coal, aggregate and fertiliser — by tipper, silo tanker or flatbed vehicle. Efficiency in bulk haulage is achieved by loading each vehicle as close as possible to the legal maximum payload while managing loading and unloading operations swiftly. From port discharge to factory feeding, and from mining sites to export points, we assign the right equipment at every stage of the bulk cargo journey. The İskenderun Gulf is home to one of Turkey's busiest bulk cargo handling ports. Coal, iron ore, scrap, grain and clinker arriving by sea are discharged at the port and then transported by road to factories, warehouses or consumption points. Raw material feeding for İSDEMİR and regional steel plants, as well as clinker and aggregate haulage for cement factories, constitute a significant portion of our bulk operations. Our tipper trucks handle heavy granular loads such as scrap, aggregate, ore, sand and coal; our silo tankers serve dust-sensitive cargoes such as cement, flour, feed and granular chemicals. With flatbed and tautliner trailers we transport unpackaged yet stackable goods. For every cargo category, axle-load distribution and maximum legal payload are calculated with precision.
We offer flexible capacity for grain and cereals during agricultural seasons, aggregate and cement during construction seasons, and scrap and ore in industrial production periods. By analysing in advance whether volume or tonnage will be the limiting factor for a given cargo density, we assign the most efficient vehicle.
The most critical factor in bulk haulage is carrying the highest possible payload without exceeding the vehicle's legal maximum laden weight. Before loading, tare weight, axle configuration and weighbridge points along the route are assessed. Weighbridge coordination at the loading site ensures the vehicle departs below the legal limit with the maximum useful payload, eliminating both safety hazards and fine risk.
For export and port deliveries, weighing records, delivery notes and dispatch documents are prepared in full. All shipments are covered by cargo insurance and monitored in real time via vehicle tracking.
